Zoho CRM Review
The broadest suite for the money in this category, sold by a company that publishes prices in the currency of wherever you happen to be.
Reviewed August 2026 · The Insight Journal Editorial Team
The verdict
Zoho CRM is the strongest value case in the category if you are already using other Zoho products, and a reasonable one if you are not. The catch we hit on 18 August 2026 is practical rather than editorial: the pricing page served non-USD figures to our request location, so this review names the free tier limit it stated and no other number.

What Zoho CRM is actually for
In short
Zoho sells breadth. The CRM sits inside a suite that includes books, desk, projects, and campaigns, and the argument for it is that a small company can run most of its systems from one vendor without integration work.
That argument holds better than it does for most suite vendors, because Zoho prices the individual products low enough that the bundle is not the only viable entry point.
The trade-off is depth per module. Each product in the suite is capable rather than best in class, which is the correct trade for a company that values one bill and one login over the strongest tool per function.
This review sits under the comparison that prices Zoho CRM against the rest of the category, which prices the whole category side by side. Read that first if you have not chosen a category yet, and this if Zoho is already on the shortlist.

What Zoho CRM costs

What the plan actually limits
- The free tier caps at 3 users, which is one more than most free CRM tiers allow.
- Paid edition pricing could not be read in US dollars from our request location on the day.
- Suite bundles are priced separately from the standalone CRM.
- Feature depth per module is the trade-off for suite breadth.
Fit
Who Zoho CRM fits, and who it does not
In short
Choose it when
- You already run other Zoho products and want one vendor
- Three users or fewer, and the free tier is a real starting point
- You value breadth across functions over depth in one
- Budget is the binding constraint rather than capability
Look elsewhere when
- You need best in class in one specific function
- A suite you have to configure across modules is more than you want to own
- You need US dollar pricing confirmed before you can get approval, in which case check the vendor page directly
The exit
What leaving Zoho CRM costs
In short
Run that export inside the Zoho CRM trial rather than after the decision. What survives it is what you own.

How this review was made
What we did
We read the vendor own pricing and documentation pages on 18 August 2026, recorded the date, and quoted rather than interpreted. Characterizations of fit are labeled as editorial judgment.
What we did not do
We claim no hands-on testing, publish no star rating, and show no product screenshots, since a generated interface image would be a fabricated screenshot and vendor marketing images are not evidence.
How this is funded
Some links are affiliate links, and we may earn a commission at no cost to you. No vendor pays for placement or ordering. Our editorial policy sets out the source hierarchy behind every figure here.
